The Samaritan Shelter

fight homelessness in the community. We are blessed to have an all-volunteer board, many of whom have served the shelter for years. Our board consists of a diverse group of individuals that bring various types of expertise to the table. The board meets on a monthly basis and holds innumerable fundraisers every year. Not only does the board dedicate time for monthly meetings, but most donate hours of their time each month at the shelter.

Have you got a big heart for missions? How about fresh ideas for helping the needy? Looking for a great opportunity to help our local community?

To receive more information on becoming a board member, monthly meetings or to submit fundraiser idea's, please call us at 410.957.4310 or email our director Shelly Daniels at

We rely heavily on monetary donations from the community and local businesses to help us provide hot meals and warm beds to hundreds of individuals each year.   When you donate to the Samaritan Shelter, you are helping to alleviate isolation and hunger that plagues too many families and individuals. We also accept new and "gently used" item donations.

Remember that donations are tax deductible and that every donation, no matter how  small --makes a difference.
